The power of facials for both results and relaxation
As the seasons change, the needs of our skin change too. Have you noticed your skin feels tighter or dehydrated? Maybe a few more fine lines, dullness or some pigmentation after the summer months? As winter sets in, it is the perfect time to give your skin a boost in your own relaxing haven where you can unwind from daily stresses. So you’ll be glowing on the inside and outside. We’re talking facials.
At endota we are passionate about your skin and what’s best for it, but also understand how the right treatment can help address visible skin concerns, as well as enhance your overall wellbeing.
“Having regular facials contributes to skin’s overall health, maintaining its condition and slowing down the ageing process. The opportunity to take time for yourself is also extremely important, and you’ll feel as relaxed and rejuvenated as your skin will look,” said Tamara Noske, endota educator for SA & WA.
Let your therapist guide you
To get the most out of your facial, you want a treatment that is tailored to you. Everyone’s skin is different, so it’s important during the consultation phase that you’re honest about what you want to achieve and any sensitivities you have.
“We recommend taking advice from a spa therapist to decide on the best ongoing treatment plan for you. If you’re new to facials we might start you on an Organic Infusion Facial, and then look at something a bit more advanced incorporating elements such as LED light therapy and chemical peels,”
Even a seasoned facialist can do with a change in their routine and it’s important to introduce more intense treatments gradually.
Our expert therapists use a combination of customised products and complimentary technology like ionwave technology, laser and hydro-microdermabrasion. They are tailored to your skin type, targeting specific concerns to drive the results you’re looking for. And if you’re not sure what you need… we’re happy to help you find it.
There’s a wide range of treatments to choose from, but here’s a few that Tamara says clients are loving right now:
Look a little deeper
The New Age Customised Facial is a 60-minute results-based treatment using advanced clinical diagnostics to detect hydration levels, imperfections, sun damage and dryness. It provides a more in-depth view than what can be seen with the naked eye. This allows your therapist to select the most effective product combinations for visible results. And all you have to do is lay back and enjoy.
Peel Back the layers
By introducing peels to your skincare arsenal you’re working on the skin’s outer layer, to reveal fresh and luminous skin underneath. The popular New Age Clinical Peel treatment offers unique customisation with your therapist recommending one of three peel strengths to addresses your concerns most effectively. The Brightening peel, works best for addressing pigmentation and dehydration, and the Anti-ageing peel focusing on signs of premature ageing and boosting collagen production. While the Clearing peel helps with acne breakouts and congestion.
Pump up the power
Like exercise, regular treatments are the best way to keep your skin in top condition, so our Power Series is another popular choice, offering 4 x 30 minute sessions that target specific concerns. The short sessions allow you to fit a facial and some me-time into your busy schedule, and there are three Power Series options to choose from. The Glycolic Peel helps to refine skin texture, Light Therapy (LED) helps boost collagen and elastin production while also promoting cell regeneration and Hydro-microdermabrasion is best to resurface, hydrate and brighten skin tone.
Whichever facial treatment you choose, while the products are hard at work, you’ll be relaxing. Stress is a major contributor to poor skin health as is adequate rest time. So at endota, we focus on targeted results and whole body and mind relaxation. Your overall wellness is crucial to maintaining an inner and outer glow, and you don’t have to compromise one to have the other.
