Bringing self-care home this Father’s Day

It’s important to reset and restore your balance by taking time to care for yourself. But what about the people you care about? With Father’s Day approaching, it is the perfect time to remind our doting dads about the importance of self-care.

Self-care can come in many different forms. For your dad it might be through activities he loves like surfing, golf, cycling, cooking or going to the footy… it’s important to regularly do things that help you find your centre.

Setting rituals at home is another way to enjoy self-care, and while skincare might not be your dad’s go-to, he might be surprised at the results. Our limited edition Restore and Protect Pack has been put together with men in mind. It includes a few products that will complement Dad’s routine without complicating it, using natural ingredients to soothe and relax the body and mind.

Clove & Mint Recovery Balm

This is a cult favourite, with one sold every 30 minutes* in Australia. It’s perfect for post-workout recovery - simply massage a thin layer into tense muscles and breathe in the uplifting essential oils.

Magnesium Mist

Amp up the effects of the Recovery Balm with a spritz of the calming and hydrating Magnesium Mist, which also can help with boosting circulation.

Natural Clear Zinc

If you can convince Dad to use one product, it should be a good sunscreen. This premium, ultra-hydrating natural mineral sunscreen offers enhanced protection by providing a physical barrier against UVA and UVB rays, without harsh chemicals.

All the product formulas are developed in Melbourne, with sustainability in mind. Even the sunscreen tube is locally made using solar energy. The cotton canvas wash bag with vegan trims is bundled up in a 100% recycled seeded wrap, which contains basil seeds. So once Dad unwraps his gift – he can plant the cardboard sleeve and wait for some herbs to grow! Simply soak the card in water until soft. Place it on soil mix (in pot or ground). Lightly cover with more mix, water and keep moist. Germination should take 7 - 21 days.

So remind Dad to take some time out this Father’s Day, with a gift that shows how much you care.
