Sarah has embraced her new skincare routine with enthusiasm after seeing remarkable improvements to her complexion and experiencing unexpected benefits to her overall wellbeing.
What’s your biggest take-away from the New Age road-test?
Aside from the overall improvement to my skin’s health, I would have to say a shift in my attitude towards skincare has been the most significant change during this road-test. Once I was able to see a change in my complexion, I began to appreciate how taking care of my skin properly is so important. I feel like I’ve been able to wind back the clock a little bit – and it feels great. It has really given me a new-found sense of confidence, so much so that wearing makeup is now a rarity for me, which I something I never thought would become a reality.
How has the road test changed your view on caring for the health of your skin?
Twelve weeks ago, I didn’t truly understand the benefits of a personalised skincare routine. Through this process I have learnt about my skin’s hydration and texture and the damaging effects of sun exposure. Now I’m more mindful about meeting my skin’s daily needs and ensuring I protect against harmful UV rays before stepping outside. Making time for the face masks twice a week has been a lovely addition to my routine and has also felt quite soothing.
What does the future hold for your skincare regime?
Consistency. Now that I have an achievable at-home skin routine with proven results, I will be continuing with my daily New Age regimen alongside in-spa New Age Light Therapy facials. I have already booked in my next monthly spa treatment as I love every minute of them and don’t think I could give up now! Taking time out of a busy life to focus on yourself feels good for the spirit – after all, it’s only one hour a month and I feel I am worthy of that.
Sarah achieved a huge improvement in her oil flow, with a marked reduction in congestion and break-outs, her initial areas of concern.
