Based on your responses, your skin type is:

oily skin

While sebum, an oily substance made of fats, is necessary for keeping skin moisturised, an overproduction can clog pores and make your face look shiny. Enlarged pores are a characteristic of oily skin, as they are likely to produce excess oil. This overproduction creates an oily feeling that returns even after cleansing your skin.

top tips for oily skin

To minimise the appearance of excess oil, the key is to keep your complexion balanced. Here are some of our top tips to do so:

  • When choosing skincare, opt for products that are both water-based, so you don’t inadvertently add more oil to your skin, and are non comedogenic, to avoid clogging your pores.
  • Choose skincare that has a lightweight consistency to keep your skin hydrated, without making it feel greasy.
  • A double cleanse is recommended at night to remove excess oil and pollutants.
  • Sleeping on a silk pillowcase is a great way to limit bacteria exposure. Ensure you're washing it frequently.

want a treatment personalised to your skin?

book your Customised Facial today

Your appointment will begin with an assessment to establish your skin needs and recommend the right facial to address your specific concerns. During your facial, active ingredients are infused into the skin to help correct and transform, followed by a personalised at-home skin ritual tailored to your needs.

These results are based on your answers submitted to our Skin Type Quiz. As results are general in nature and your skin has not been assessed in person, we do recommend booking for an in-spa consultation with a therapist at your local endota spa for more specialised advice.
